Selected Motivations of Student Sports Volunteers in Terms of Professional Activity and Previous Volunteering Experience

Involvement in sports volunteering is not only a way to improve mental health by increasing sense of appreciation or respect, but it also allows participants take on an individual challenge, meet new people, gain specific knowledge. The aim this study was analyze selected motivations students from the University Physical Education Krakow get involved during 2023 European Games organized their city and verifying them terms gender, age, previous experience, pursuing career. A total 535 took part survey, whom 52.71% (282) were female, 47.29% (253) male. Selected motivation statements indicated respondents through 5-point Likert scale. results completed confirmed that professional career alongside studies experience had impact undertaking (F = 11.754; r 0.674; p 0.003 F 10.241; 0.611; 0.002). obtained research may be important for psychologists organizers events context recruiting volunteers improving process managing volunteering.
